Unit Journal

The Unit Journal contains in-depth descriptions of the activity of the 134th Infantry Regiment on a daily basis. There are numerous entries for each day's events showing the time of occurrence for each. They include information regarding geographic location and troop movement, weather, and combat activity.

Below is an example of a page from the 134th Infantry Regiment's Unit Journal for January 11, 1945. It shows the events that occured between 1020 hours (10:20 a.m.) and 2135 hours (9:35 p.m.) on that date:

The Unit Journal is currently available for the months of December 1944, January 1945, May 1945, and June 1945. Because these are such large documents it is not possible to keep them posted on this website due to space constraints.
