T/5 Stanley Speiller
T/5 Stanley Speiller arrived in the European Theater of Operations (ETO) on 25 May 1944. He served in the Ardennes, Centeral Europe, Normandy, Northern France, and Rhineland Campaigns. During this time he was twice wounded in action; in France, 11 August 1944 and in Germany 29 January 1945. He departed the ETO on 5 September 1945 and was separated from service on 15 September 1945.
He received the following awards: Bronze Star Medal; Purple Heart Medal with 1 bronze oak leaf cluster; Good Conduct Medal; American Campaign Medal; European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with 1 silver service star; World War II Victory Medal; Combat Infantryman Badge 1st Award; Honorable Service Lapel Button WWII; Marksman Badge with Rifle Bar.
