John Quinn, son of Timothy and Mary (Lepine) Quinn, was born May 14, 1916 in Lowell, Massachusetts. He married Eleanor Mae Nutter on August 2, 1941. He was inducted into the Army on January 20, 1943 at Fort Devens Massachusetts. Pfc John Quinn served as a Rifleman in Second Platoon, Company L, 134th Infantry Regiment. He was Killed in Action July 15, 1944 during the battle for St Lo, France. He is buried at Saint Patrick Cemetery, Lowell, Massachusetts.

Thanks to Mr. Jack Quinn, the son of Pfc. John Quinn for providing this photo. He was 7 months old when his father entered the service and he was two years old when his father was killed in action. His home town was Lowell, Massachusetts.
