Pfc Oscar G Johnson was born in Sweden on May 13, 1909. He was inducted into the Army on March 22, 1942 at Tacoma, Washington. He served as a Messenger in the Second Platoon, Company L and landed on Omaha Beach with the 134th Infantry Regiment on July 6, 1944. He was Killed in Action during the battle at St Lo, France on July 15, 1944 and is buried at Frillesas Cemetery in Frillesas, Sweden.
