What a great find after an Internet search. I was looking for any information concerning the awards received by my father in WW II. And I was pleased to find the orders.

In memory of Victor Collins and his fellow soldiers who gave their lives for all of us.
Thanks to the Sugar Loaf Battle Association for not letting their sacrifice and bravery be forgotten.

According to the Hamilton County (Ohio) Geanealogical, a Pierre Godeau "from Bastogne, Belgium. He is looking for information on a WWII soldier from Cincinnati who served in the Bastogne area. If anyone has any information please let us know so we can share with Pierre.
"I'm writing to see whether someone could help me to find some historical information and possibly a picture of US Army Private GEORGE W. MASON ( serial number : 35832001 ), apparently an Hamilton County native.....who served in the 134th Infantry regiment here during the battle of the Bulge and was KIA around january 11; 1945 near Lutrebois ( Bastogne area ). A friend of mine found his helmet and would like to donate it to a local museum about the Bulge with as much documentation as possible. There is NO money making scheme involved....just trying to save some history. Cheers from Belgium Pierre Godeau"

My father, Eldon Sellmeyer, was with HQ Company, 3rd Battalion, 134th Infantry Regiment. He participated in the march through Europe. The photo of the double wedding at Camp Robinson was of my parents' wedding and neither of them had seen it. My mother recently passed away and I thought it would be good to revisit the site. Thanks for providing this forum.

My father, Eldon Sellmeyer, was with HQ Company, 3rd Battalion, 134th Infantry Regiment in Europe from July 1944-V-E Day. The photo of the double wedding at Camp Robinson was a surprise to my mother, Bess, since it was their wedding and she had never seen it. She recently passed away (93) at I though it was time to revisit the site. Thanks for providing the opportunity to learn more about my father.
