My father, Leonardo B Coppola, was a cpl in Co. A, 134th Reg captured near Metz and interred in Stalag VIIA in Moosburg Germany from 17 Sept 1944 to April 1945. I'm sorry the original guestbook entries were lost as I would spend hours reading notes from all over the world about the regiment. Especially interesting were the entries from family members of those who came in contact with members during the different campaigns.

I noticed that my uncle, Joseph G Swendroski name was mispelled on the KIA list. How can I get that corrected.
I was almost 3 when he was killed and his memory was kept alive through my mother. She said that he spent his leave taking me for a walk to the drugstore and buying me a toy every day. He figured that he might not get the chance again. My mom died in 2004 at 97. So I'll remember . His remains are at St Lo.
Thank you

My uncle, Gerald E. Melssen, a staff sergeant with the 134th, was killed at San Lo, France in August 1944. My father, a veteran of WWII and Korea, could never talk about Gerry's death without crying. I have a photo of Gerry - if someone from this website would like me to scan it and send it along to you, please let me know. Thank you and thank you veterans, for your service.

I am looking for information on my grandfather Stanley Fedison. He served as part of Company F, 134th infantry. He was a POW in Stalag II-A. He passed away 13 years ago. He never wanted to talk about his experiences. I am just wondering if anyone remembers him.

I am trying to learn more about 1st Sgt Dale M. McClara. I have a document that says "Memo of 1st Sgt. Dale M. McClara" and the other name is Sergeant Morlock. McClara describes what happened to Morlock as he was forced to march from Gerolstein to Siegburg, Germany where he died on about 4 Feb. 1945.
My message was too long, so I will have to find another way to send it.

I,m truly sorry to see our initial guestbook gone, but fully understand. I seem to be the first oldtimer who has signed this new one. I was with H Co. 134th Infantry from york Nebraska. We went in via Omaha Beach on July 4 1944, serving under Gen Patton. I hope I can see a number more of you guy,s who have been around, signing this new book. We have been so blessed with the first and I hope this one is as successful. I am 92 and looking for some old friends. Best wishes to all, Bob

My grandfather fought with Company G 134th infantry of the 35th infantry regiment. He was a rifleman. He fought in The Battle Of The Bulge under Gen. George Patton in the 3rd Army. He got wounded and was awarded the Purple Heart. He also won the Bronze Star, Good Conduct medal and few other awards. I cannot find anything about him on here. His name was Shirley T Needham. He was a PFC. Does anyone on here know anything about him or where I could find more information about him?
