I was able to find my father's name on the list of the 60th - George J. Wagnis. Thank you for posting this as it gives me an idea of what he did in WWII. He never spoke about his military service very much. How do I find out when he joined the 60th?

My uncle was 134th Co. F who was KIA in battle for Mortain nr St Lo and
buried in St James military. his name was Dallas I Bowden from Delaware.
He was not long in service before he was killed-so, not really long enough
for any rememberances. I certainly wish that I had known about this
website soon enough to possibly contact anyone who could have
remembered him. But should there be someone that remembered, I would most appreciate it.

Thank you for renewing this web site!! My father-in-law was SSG Guy Burgess, Company A, 134th Infantry. Like most veterans of that time we knew very little about his tour of duty and did not discover until after his death that he received a bronze star in action near Fossieux, France in October 1944. If there is anyone still out there who may have known him it would be great to share information. Thanks!!

My dad J.W.Caplinger was in the 134th Co. B. He was at Habkirchen and the minefield at Hilforth. He was made a medic when the original medic was killed. He was later made a litter bearer. He finished at Hanover. Does anyone remember him???

Hello,
My name is Marc and i'm from Belgium. I want to ask a question if i may?
Between the belongings of my late father i found a dogtag of an American Soldier
(i think).
The dogtag reads: Charles T Fulmer
38446780 T43 44 A
And in the right hand corner the letter P
After browsing the net with his name and number i found out that he was in the
35th and that he had a Purple hart and that he was Infantry.
I hope someone can give me more info over this soldier.
Birthdate - where he was born - which campanges he was in - how old he is (was), did he come home from the war,
- if he had childeren, etc...
All info is welcome.
Thank you all in advance.
Marc
