My Grandfather Joseph Mallia Faught as a Privet for the 60th Company A.
Service dates: 1/30/1943 - 12/11/1945.

All I have is is discharge papers, and an American Theater Service Medal ribbon. It was my understanding that he was in Europe. I was told that he, and one other guy from his squad survived a battle there.

One mention of a soldier "Sunny" saved his life by decking him out of the kill radius of a grenade. Can anyone help with this?

My Father, Thomas Hudson Wade passed 9/14/2006, I looked at this discharge papers and it shows that he was in the 134 QM Trk Co., It states that he was in Normandy Northern France, I looked at the site and did not see his name there, so I don't know what company he was in. can anyone tell me, and how I can get the names and pictures of those he served with.

thanks,
his loving daughter, now married to a Marine of two wars, Beirut and Gulf.

:-) I just recently found that my father's cousin, Harry Alfred Embry, was KIA sometime in July 1944 in France (ancestry.com), Tonight I found his grave marker application, which listed Death as 16 July 1944, and part of the 137th Infantry Regiment, 34th Infantry Division. I did not see him listed on the register. Can anyone provide me any more information?

My grandfather was a member of the 134th Regiment. Per his discharge papers, he was awarded 5 Bronze Stars. He did not speak much of his service but I would love to know what he did to receive these awards. I contacted the Army and his records were lost in the fire back in the 70's. Is there any other avenue I can take to try and find this information?

My grandfather's name was Howard D Nall.

My mother, Elizabeth Hanthorne, was a cousin of Ralph Brennan who was killed in France.
