My father was in the 137th infintry in WWII. His name is John Bichun. He retired after 22 years of service. He died when I was 18. So I know little about him and his service. Is there anyone out there who knew him? Who could tell me more about him and what exactly he did. I would appreciate it very much. Thank you.

My father, Stan Kassy, got of the ship in Marseille December 23, 1944. He was in company E of the 134th. He carried a Browning and helped open the road during the Battle of the Bulge. He said by the end of the war, he was the only one who got off the ship with him that was not injured or killed. Anyone with information or a similar story? Thank you so very much. Kris
