Company B - 320th Infantry Regiment

Marlin C Talley, son of Lonnie William and Effie Lee (Harrison) Talley, was born September 22, 1922 in Alabama. He was inducted into the Army January 8, 1943 at Fort McClellan, Alabama. He served in Company B, 320th Infantry Regiment. Pfc Marlin C Talley was killed in action July 12, 1944. At the time of his death, the 320th Infantry Regiment was attacking the enemy, advancing toward the north bank of the Vire River just west of St Lo, France. His remains were never recovered and he is memorialized on the Tablets of the Missing, Normandy American Cemetery, Colleville-sur-Mer, France.
