Glenn Vivian Wright was born in East Liverpool, Ohio August 6, 1924. He was inducted into the Army March 4, 1944 at Fort Benjamin Harrison, Indiana. He joined Company F, 134th Infantry Regiment from the 38th Replacement Battalion on September 30, 1944 and served as a Rifleman. Originally reported missing, it was later confirmed that he was killed in action on November 13, 1944 when he was struck by small arms fire while entering the recently captured town of Achain, France. Pvt Glenn V Wright is buried at Lorraine American Cemetery, Saint-Avold, France.
