Clarence William Harris, Jr, son of Clarence William, Sr and Exerena (Lanthier) Harris, was born June 22, 1922 in Evanston, Illinois and moved to Los Angeles, California sometime before 1930. He enlisted in the Army April 27, 1942 and was an Infantry Unit Commander in Company G, 134th Infantry Regiment. 1st Lt Clarence W Harris, Jr was reported missing January 6, 1945 in the vicinity of Lutrebois, Belgium and was later confirmed killed in action on that date. He is buried at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Glendale, California.
