Joseph David Hall, son of Daniel and Catherine (Trapp) Hall, was born July 24, 1923 in Oil City, Pennsylvania. He was inducted into the Army February 25, 1943 at Erie, Pennsylvania. Corporal Joseph D Hall was a Squad Leader in Company M, 134th Infantry Regiment. He joined the Regiment on July 24, 1944 while they were in the vicinity of St Lo, France. He was seriously wounded in action August 9, 1944 during the battle at Mortain, France. Cpl Joseph D Hall passed away September 27, 2001. He is buried at Brandon Cemetery in Seneca, Pennsylvania.
