Benjamin Acciarito, the son of Giovanni and Sarafina Acciarits, was born in Pennsylvania on July 13, 1920. He was a civilian worker at the Army Signal Corps depot in Philadelphia prior to entering service on September 3, 1942. He joined Company E, 134th Infantry Regiment from the 38th Replacement Battalion on September 16, 1944. He was Killed in Action on September 26, 1944. Pvt Benjamin Acciarito is buried in the Lorraine American Cemetery at St. Avold, France.
